ABOUT FINE ART AUDITS LLC
Practice & Experience

Growing up in Maine I explored different art forms as a hobby, it never crossed my mind that I could enter the world of fine art as a profession. During my third year of college I had my first art history class. At the University of Rhode Island it is mandatory for students to take an intro to art course. Shortly after the class began, I realized that what I thought was just a hobby was truly a passion. I found myself immediately looking into internships at art museums. I applied and was chosen to intern at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
At the Museum of Fine Arts I worked with the American and European art departments. My main focus was to prepare each departments' collection for their annual government mandated audit. This was the perfect opportunity to combine my love of art with organization. I diligently went through every work of art in both departments, totally around 37,000 works.
To further my education of art and museums I spent my senior year studying abroad in Florence, Italy. I graduated from the University of Rhode island in 2019 with a bachelor's degree in textile science accompanied by a minor in business management. Shortly after graduation I moved out of New England to Atlanta, Georgia. Not only was settling into a new city challenging, simultaneously COVID-19 started to make headlines. Fearful of unemployment as a new graduate I began working in the finance industry at a mortgage firm. Working within the compliance department of a mortgage firm fine tuned my time management skills along with my ability to locate discrepancies.
After a couple of years working within the hectic mortgage industry I developed a syncope syndrome, determined to be caused by stress. My health put everything into perspective. Fine Art Audits was no longer just an idea, it is now a recognized LLC ready to work with museums across the world.
