Fine Arts Audits eliminates adding the burden of a collection audit onto the workload of a full-time employee.

Collection Review
The purpose of Fine Art Audits is to diligently review all information regarding a piece of art within a museum. The accuracy of location and description is pivotal to the reputation between the museum and the public.
The comprehensive review will cross-examine the information provided with the physical object along with the information on the museum’s core database. Please see the examples below of common errors:

-
Accession Number Accuracy
-
Physical Location Accuracy
-
Spelling Errors On Museum Label

The condition of museum labels not on display can also be remedied if the review calls for works of art not currently on exhibit. Discrepancies can be reported and reconciled on a weekly basis. Once the audit has been completed a final summary of findings will be provided.
Regardless of the industry, errors are inevitable when there are many moving parts. If interested, please reach out to Danielle@FineArtAudits.com for more information.
